It seems like we are constantly figuring out new things about ourselves as we explore this beautiful country. It’s “Lobstah” Time in Bah Hahbah

lobster6  When we sold our house and moved on the road, one thing that many of our friends and family worried about was that we would get lonely and miss having a community to call our own.  Not only has that been proven wrong, but our community keeps getting larger and larger.  Our time so far here in Maine has allowed us to form new friendships with some wonderful people.  Betsy and Nancy (RV-A-GOGO) are camp hosting here in Bar Harbor this summer and are helping us make the most of our month here.  Just a few nights ago, they hosted a lobster cookout for us and for Amanda and Tim (Watsons Wander).  We had never met Betsy and Nancy in person and we had only met Amanda and Tim once for a few hours at a noisy bar in Colorado, and already we feel like we have known them for years. Camping our Way to Maine

We had been considering what to do next and we had two options.  One, stay in the Midwest near family for the summer and Robin could fly to Boston for work for 2 weeks in August.  Two, venture onward and upward to explore New England for the summer and stay until after Robin's workshops end.   The weather in Ohio in June helped us make our decision and from Alum Creek we headed out northwest toward Cleveland. We did a couple of nights in a Cleveland suburb and did a great barbeque with some friends in the area for the 4th.  That would be the last of city life for us for a while. Continue reading
